A defendant, left, exits the York County Court House with a supporter during trial proceedings surrounding the 1969 murder of Lillie Belle Allen, who was in York visiting relatives. Uncovered evidence re-opened a contoversial investigation and subsequent trial after 30 years had passed since the tragedy where Allen, a young black woman, and Henry Schaad, a white policeman, were gunned down during rioting in the city.
